FAQ
A few questions.
What Mai is, what’s in the can, and how the first drop works. The waitlist lives on the homepage.
What is Mai?
Lightly sparkling matcha. Calm energy. No chaos. Real matcha, quiet carbonation, a light sweetness — the drink two college friends, Sam and Stephen, wanted when caffeine usually did too much.
When does it launch?
We haven’t set a date. The waitlist hears first — early access, then Seattle cafés, then specialty shops.
Where will it be sold?
Café-first in Seattle, then specialty shops. Join the waitlist if you want the first drop before it hits the shelf.
What does it cost?
Member pricing for the waitlist. We’ll share the can price when the first run is locked.
Is there caffeine?
Yes — naturally occurring from the matcha. No synthetic caffeine and no energy-drink stack. Even energy. No crash.
How sweet is it?
About 4g of sugar per can. Lightly sweetened — not unsweetened, not sugar-free. A little lift. Not a sugar rush.
How carbonated is it?
Low and quiet. Bubbles that lift without turning matcha into soda.
Is it vegan / clean-label?
Short formula: water, real matcha, a light sweetness. No synthetic caffeine. The full ingredient list comes with the first drop.
Cafés & retail
After the first drop, we start in Seattle.
Cafés first. Then specialty shops. If you stock drinks people linger over, we’d like to talk — no inventory counter, no fake wholesale portal.
Got it. We’ll write when we’re ready to talk about stocking Mai.
